Winter Must Have Makeup (Drugstore)

Hi,

I fancied doing a post like this, as I find them so interesting to read. With these being 'drugstore', everyone reading this should be able to purchase any of these items if you are interested in them - so lets get started!

My long time favourite blusher palette has been the 'Hot Spice' Palette. For a mere £6, the quality is incredible. I have raved about this many times on this blog, so I will try to keep this brief, but this palette has such a lovely choice - whether you want to go for a nice neutral pink or a slightly darker shade, there is something for everyone. With incredible pigmentation that you'd expect from a higher makeup brand such as MAC, this palette is a must have this winter.

Carrying on with palettes, my beloved Seventeen 'Brow Palette. I use the pencil to fill in my brows, go over it with wax and a bit of colour with the brush (which is oh so cute) and then dab a bit of highlighter on my eyebrow bone. As I'm pretty low maintenance with my brows, this is perfect for me - it fills them in without having to draw them on.

Keeping with the eye theme, a newbie to my collection is my Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadow. With a cream formula, this is perfect as either a base or a normal coat. As my eyes can be sensitive and puff up if too much powder eyeshadow is applied, this is the perfect alternative. This bronze/gold shade is perfect for rocking the 'gold eyes red lips' winter look.

Foundation wise, for about 9 months I have been obsessed with the No7 Stay Perfect Foundation. I have done an in depth review of this (feel free to stalk my blog for this), but it has the pefect coverage. The pump is also very good - the worst thing is having a foundation where you don't receive a pump with it or it doesn't work. It lasts all day and is medium coverage.

I've been wearing the Revlon lipsticks on a regular basis - Black Cherry & Really Red having been my go to shades. I'm usually quite a stickler with not trying new shades and not going out of my comfort zone, however, I've been really impressed to have been wearing these! Black Cherry is perfect for when you are feeling adventurous with a strong contour and likewise with Really Red.

I'm sorry for rambling, but hopefully this will inspire you to purchase some new goodies just before the spring drop and get you to go out of your comfort zones!

Love,
Katy
